Kinder Sail Camp 2022 (3-day Weekend)

It's time to sign up for Kinder Sail Camp!  July 22th-24th

This 3 day Kinder Sail Camp is designed to give children, ages 6 to 9 years old, the chance to experience the thrill of sailing.  This camp will be very similar to our very popular week long overnight Sail Camp, but optimized for the younger age group. It will be a great primer for Harbor Mice and Junior Sailing in later years.

• Lead by US Sailing Certified Instructors as well as youth counselors from Junior Sail Camp.
• Sailing experiences on small youth sailboats with experienced youth counselors and on their own, sailing on cabin boats and catamarans.
• Flexible overnight arrangements: Group Overnight (possible for 8-9 y/o), Camping with parents, or Day Camp options

Usually, all the kids enjoy sleeping in the clubhouse with all the other kids and have a great time, even the youngest campers.  COVID-19 restrictions may limit use of these accommodations this year, but we are hopeful.  Please plan on this being a day camp with all meals and a full 10 hours of activities on Friday and Saturday, through Sunday afternoon. Yes, they can do it and they have fun.  Families are invited to camp at CSA in tents, vehicles, boats, or the nearby Park campground is available for campers/RV's.

For planning purposes, there will be activities planned until about 8pm on Friday  and Saturday night.  Breakfast is at 8am and activities will be starting by 9am.  This camp is very flexible for campers/parents needs and parents can sign in/out their campers as needed.  Camp check-in will be anytime between 8:30 and 10:00am on Friday morning.  Camp ends at 4:00pm on Sunday.
